10:00 Meeting of organizing committee, referees and team leaders (at the event-stage in Birstonas)
12:00 Vikings’ trip
The distance is 50 km. The start is in Nemajunai at the Water-Level Measuring Station and the finish is in front of the monument of Grand Duke Vytautas in Birstonas. Participants should have a rest each 10 km for 15 min in the set places (Trakeliai, Panartiskes, Naravai, Prienai). A rest is mandatory and it is excluded from the race time (total time minus 60 min (4x15 min)). If you will take a rest longer as 15 min, the time over 15 min will be added to the race time.
Boats: 16-seat oar-boats (14 rowers, a steersman, a flag-waver). Team: 16 people (without restrictions on age or gender).
12:30 Grass-snakes’ trip
The distance is 50 km. The start is in Nemajunai at the Water-Level Measuring Station and the finish is in front of the monument of Grand Duke Vytautas in Birstonas. The distance is 3 km. The start is in Birstonas near the Zverincius forest and the finish is in front of the monument of Grand Duke Vytautas.
Boats: 8-seat oar-boats (6 rowers, a steersman, a flag-waver). Team: the age is between 12 and 15 years old and there is no gender restriction.
13:30 Pirates Regatta
The distance is 3 km. The start is in Birstonas near the Zverincius forest and the finish is at the dock.
Boats: 4-seat oar-boats (2 rowers, a steersman, a flag-waver). Team: age is up to 12 years old and there is no gender restriction.
Race in the Verkne and Nemunas rivers
Verkne Regatta
The distance is 20 km. The start is in Jundeliskes at the intersection of the Verkne river and the road Vilnius-Prienai and finish is in front of the monument of Grand Duke Vytautas in Birstonas.
Boats: touring 2-seat kayaks, 3-seat and 4-seat canoes. Without restrictions on age or gender for the team members.

You can participate with your own boats or you can rent them from organizers.
During all the days of the festival (08-10/08/2008) you will be able to visit an exhibition of manufacturers and rent companies of rowing boats in Birstonas, you will have a great opportunity to enjoy Lithuanian meals in outdoor cafes and buy something special, which will remind you of Lithuania, in souvenirs shops.
