If you don't want to see a trout fish 2m below your kayak in a turquoise Soca waters,
If you don't want to see the roman bridge crossings high above you,
If you don't want to recall your winter time eskimo roll clinic in the pool while gasping for a breath of air when capsizing,
If you don't like the stuff called canyoning and don't want to slide yourself from the 16m drop,
If you don't want to rest at the campsite, take some beer and listen about the most extreme stories ever told,
If you don't want to see beginners in WW kayaking from all the Europe,
If you like your still and boring existence, then stay and don't bother!
In late July and August, Campo is organizing it's annual WW 2+/3-star seminar in Slovenia, in Soca river. Two shifts are planned:
1) July 24th - August 2nd,
2) July 31st - August 9th.
Purpose of the seminar: Development of the WW paddling and rescue skills. A pleasure and holyday.
Experience and fitness pre-requisites: comfortable with BCU 3-star test prerequisites and/or 2-star test + WW-training course from Campo or other recognizable authority.

Travel and hosting: By Campo micro-bus or by your own transport, living in campsite at Bovec.
Mandatory equipment:
kayak, equipped with floatation bags, a proper deck,
a paddle,
a buoyancy vest (safety harness system isn't mandatory but is recommended),
a WW helmet,
a throw bag for every craft (15-20m),
a wetsuit or dry suit for hot weather/cold water use,
a camping gear;
Recommended:
a sun screen,
a sun glasses,
a personal medication (if needed),
a water bottle with your kayak,
a dry-packed photo-video equipment to record your adventures.
Costs:
Participation fee for the event is 850 LTL. If you join with your own transport - 500 LTL (you carry your own kayaks too).
This fee include a bus rental (bus passengers), a boat trailer, instructor work and event management).
Variable costs to be shared between group members are expected to be:
- fuel and pay roads: ~340 LTL
- food: ~ 170 LTL
- camping fees in Bovec: ~250 LTL.
- boat rentals in Bovec (if you rent one): 260-350 LTL or
- boat rentals from Campo: around 200-250 LTL, depending on what you take;
The overall expanse you could count on will not exceed 1600 LTL + rentals, but fairly depends on your living allowance in Bovec.
To participate the seminar, you should fill in the application (button "Sign-up" at the top right corner of the page), pay the participation fee and convince us regarding your technical ability and fitness. Consider a training course and contact us if in doubt. We strictly believe, that if one take seriously the preparation period and do it's most to participate the spring-time descends, some technical clinic sessions and is strong enough to take some challenges, he can be with us in this event even if this is the first time one hear about kayaking as such. Take a challenge and acquire a new hobby!
